In the book The Sister Brothers one character that I think is a archetypal hero is Charles.Some of the things that make him an archetypal hero are he is brave, reluctant, and kind. He is brave because he goes on these missions with his brother that could possibly get him killed. He is reluctant because he questions why he is sent to kill these people and doesn't know if he should kill the.  Finally he is kind because he helps people on the way that don't have anything to do with him.

    If you are looking for a book a good book is "The Boy In the Stripped Pajamas" it takes place during WWII and it deals with the Concentration Camps. It's petty good.
